Thyrm designed the PyroVault Lighter Armor to protect your lighter insert and prevent evaporation, thereby increasing the reliability of your lighter. PyroVaults have solid polymer bodies that protect from the elements, gasket seals, and a spring-loaded mechanism to facilitate one-handed opening.
There are two kinds of PyroVaults:
- The original PyroVault Lighter Armor was designed to be compatible with the classic Zippo fluid lighter insert and a few non-Zippo butane inserts. It features a pocket clip that is MOLLE/PALS compatible. Each PyroVault is a solid color; there are five different color options.
- The PyroVault 2.0 Lighter Armor was designed to be compatible with the broad range of Zippo lighter inserts and many more non-Zippo butane inserts. It features a full-size lanyard hole, two-layer construction, and a Tinder-QuikTMÂ Each PyroVault 2.0 is has two colors; there are six different two-color options.
